Three Congregations. One Mission. One Center at a Time.

Each Center of Mercy is built through the coordinated effort of three founding congregations, each bringing their unique charism to the mission. Once construction is complete, the keys are handed to the operating congregation — who administers the center with full independence.

The Three Build Congregations

Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR)

Role: Action — Street outreach, living Franciscan poverty, bringing the poor directly into the center. The CFR embody the spirit of St. Francis — going out to the margins and carrying the marginalized back to safety.

Poor Clare Colettines (P.C.C.)

Role: Prayer — Contemplative foundation, prayer covering, and intercession over every phase of construction and operation. The Poor Clares hold the spiritual foundation of every center in perpetual prayer.

Dominican Order (Order of Preachers)

Role: Truth — Administrative coordination, structure, logistics, and Biblical formation. The Dominicans ensure every center is rooted in sound doctrine and organized for lasting service.

Together They Represent the Gospel in Three Movements

• Preach the Truth — Dominicans

After the Handoff

Once construction is complete, the operating congregation receives full ownership and full independence. All three build congregations step into their permanent service roles inside the center — serving according to their charism for the life of the center.
