🌍 The Meeting

Jorge Carrasco — a General Contractor based in Florida — was searching for someone to help with SEO for his business. He looked at many people. Most asked for high rates. Most had impressive profiles.

Then he saw Nur.

Nur Hasan was not asking for money. He was asking for one opportunity.

🏡 The Village

Nur lived in a poor village in Bangladesh — two hours from the nearest city. No computer at home. No internet. There was electricity — but internet was too expensive for his village.

Every day that Nur wanted to work — he walked.

  • 🚶 2 hours to the city — to reach the computer center where he worked part-time
  • 🚶 2 hours back home — after his shift was done
  • 4 hours of walking every day — just to use a computer

👀 What Jorge Saw

Nur had perhaps 15% of the knowledge needed to do the job. His hourly rate was very low. Most people would have scrolled past him.

Jorge did not scroll past.

Jorge saw something that a resume cannot show — a man willing to walk 4 hours a day for one chance. That is not a lack of skill. That is character. That is hunger.

Jorge hired him.

📞 The Call That Changed Everything

After hiring Nur, Jorge called him. He asked where he lived. He listened to the whole story — the village, the computer center, the internet that was too expensive, the road that never got shorter.

And then Jorge acted.

  • 💻 Jorge bought Nur a computer — so he could work from his village
  • 💰 Jorge increased his salary — so Nur could work more hours and earn more
  • 🏢 More income meant Nur could move from the village to the city
  • 🎓 Jorge paid for Nur’s training — certifications, skills, real professional development

💍 A Future Built on Mercy

Years passed. Nur grew. He studied. He worked. He earned his certifications.

Nur got married. He had something far greater than money: a future. A career. A calling. A life rebuilt by one act of mercy.

Jorge — a Catholic Christian in Florida.
Nur — a Muslim in Bangladesh.
Two faiths. One act of mercy. One life changed forever.

🎓 From Student to Teacher

Nur did not keep what he received to himself. He began teaching people in his own community — sharing the digital skills he had learned, opening doors for others the way Jorge had opened a door for him.

The government recognized his work. Nur received official certification as a teacher.

The boy who walked 4 hours a day to use a computer — became a certified teacher of the very skills that changed his life.

🏛️ Now — Part of the Centers of Mercy

Today, Jorge and Nur are partners in the mission. Together they will train every Center of Mercy to build its own Marketing Agency Wing — teaching the poor, the orphans, the widows, and people with disabilities the same digital skills that transformed Nur’s life.

“Nur understood that the Will of God is to help the poor, the orphans, the widows. And now he wants to offer his free time — and learn from the God who showed him mercy through a stranger.”

❤️ What This Story Teaches Us

  • 🙏 Mercy has no religion — it belongs to every soul that gives it
  • 🚶 Willingness matters more than credentials
  • 💻 One computer can change a life
  • 🎓 The one who receives mercy becomes mercy
  • 🌍 Two faiths can serve one God — when love is the language

“An act of mercy makes the difference.
Not someday. Not eventually.
Now. Today. In one phone call. In one computer. In one yes.”

“Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8 🙏

"I am nothing. Nothing belongs to me. I am just an administrator of a mission and a project to accomplish the will of God. Without Him I am nobody. I am just another servant of God."

— Jorge Carrasco

Feed First. Then the Gospel Restores.

"No soul on earth should listen to the Gospel starving. We need to feed them first and take care of them — because the Gospel will restore their spirit and soul."
