A Vision Born from Sacred Scripture

The Centers of Mercy are physical centers of service, prayer, and Biblical formation — built and operated by consecrated religious congregations and funded in part by the mission of Exegesis Biblica. Every subscription to Exegesis Biblica contributes to the construction and operation of these centers.

What Are the Centers of Mercy?

Each Center of Mercy is a multi-wing facility dedicated to serving the poor, the sick, the elderly, and the marginalized — rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Catholic tradition of mercy. The centers are built by three founding congregations and handed over to the operating congregation upon completion.

The Three Build Congregations

  • Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR) — street outreach, living Franciscan poverty, bringing the poor in
  • Poor Clare Colettines (P.C.C.) — prayer covering, contemplative foundation, intercession over the build
  • Dominican Order (Order of Preachers) — administrative coordination, structure, logistics, Biblical formation

  • Center #1 — St. Francis of Assisi
  • Center #2 — St. Clare of Assisi
  • Center #3 — St. Benedict of Nursia
  • Center #4 onward — in order of founding charism
